Gimli & the Glider
An Immersive Audio & Video Experience
By Andrew Farris
There is no better way to complete a visit to the Gimli Glider Museum than with this immersive audio and video tour through the thrilling story of the Gimli Glider as well as Gimli's aviation history.
This tour includes walking and driving segments.
It starts at the Gimli Glider Museum with several video stops, and then takes you on an audio-guided drive out to the Gimli Glider Commemorative Park, under construction beside the runway where the Glider landed. This interactive experience will take roughly 60 to 90 minutes to complete.
This project is a partnership with the Gimli Glider Exhibit, and has been made possible by support from the Manitoba Ministry of Sport, Culture, Heritage and Tourism.
