The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) is in northeastern Alberta on Treaty 8 Territory, the traditional lands of the Cree, Dene and unceded territory of the Metis. Fort McMurray is the RWMB’s Urban Service Area, supporting nine rural communities: Anzac, Conklin, Draper, Fort Chipewyan, Fort Fitzgerald, Fort McKay, Gregoire Lake Estates, Janvier, and Saprae Creek.
